Joe McMahon 49 and Mike Angel 53, both Sappers and have been out years, we served with 1st Fd Sqn during the 91 gulf. We are going to be doing Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk, starting on 23rd April St Georges Day. Starting at St Bees Cumbria and finishing at Robin Hoods Bay, it?s 190 miles and has an Accent of 29,000 ft, the same height as Everest. We plan to complete it in 9 days and are hoping to do it totally unsupported, wild camping as we go. Are aim is raise money for Veterans in Action and have a laugh as we go.
