The National 3 Peaks Challenge
Take on The National 3 Peaks Challenge and complete 402 miles starting from Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Scotland then covering the distance to Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England and then on to Snowdon the highest peak in Wales.
Track your progress on the interactive map and either link your activity using Strava to update automatically or manually enter your mileage through your personal page.
This is all about getting fit and making a difference to help others. At first glance it looks a daunting challenge, and this is all about the discipline of a long-distance challenge and breaking it down to manageable chunks.
To complete this challenge over 1 year it can be achieved by completing: Approximately 1.01 miles per day = 2,000 steps = 100kcals.
As part of your personal challenge why not keep a chart on how many miles you cover each day and the steps and calories burned, you should see a difference in this throughout the challenge.
